HOMEMADE Hot cross crumpets

This recipe is apparently a big favourite of the Easter Bunny, so be sure to leave some out for her.

Preparation: 1 minute Serves: 4 crumpets

Sultanas2 tbsp2 tbsp
Candied peel2 tbsp2 tbsp
Mixed spice1 tsp1 tsp
Ground cinnamon1 tsp1 tsp
Caster sugar2 tsp2 tsp

Method

     

    • Chop the sultanas and candied peel, then mix all the ingredients with the crumpet batter before cooking. 
    •    
    • Decorate with all the artistic pzazz you can muster (we used butter cream).
